PFG (Parent Fundraising Group)
The purpose of the PFG is to help support and enhance Redwood School. We do this by coordinating fundraising events enabling the school to acquire necessary resources and equipment. Due to limited funding, these events are essential to bridge any financial gaps the school may encounter. Fundraising events include discos, sausage sizzles, food sales, raffles, as well as sales of kids' artwork calendars and tea towels.
Joining the PFG is an excellent way to actively participate in the Redwood School community. We are always on the lookout for new members, and would love you to attend a meeting or volunteer an hour or two of your time. We recognise that many of our members have daytime commitments, your involvement can be as limited as receiving emails and making suggestions for fundraising ideas.
Monthly meetings take place on a Wednesday/Thursday evening at 7pm in the Redwood School staff room.
We’d also love support to fulfil items on our wishlist. The wishlist has been developed in collaboration with the staff, prioritising equipment, resources, and projects for fundraising investment. You can find it at the bottom of this page, on our Facebook page Redwood School PFG, or feel free to email us or the office for a copy. If you, someone in your network, or a business can assist with any of the items mentioned on the list, kindly reach out to us.
