Redwood
School
opened in 1966. The school is a contributing primary school
covering Year 1 to Year 6 students. Our school is located
at the southern end of the Tawa Valley.
Our area is suburban residential, with a small rural component
including lifestyle blocks, and consists mainly of owner-occupied
or rented family homes.
Parents pursue an active interest in their children’s
education and there is a strong sense of community with
a wide range of sporting and cultural activities.
The school has grown rapidly over the last few years, in
response to demographic change and strong support from within
the wider community.
