Houses
We have 6 houses at Redwood School. They are named after New Zealanders who have had an impact on New Zealand and the world. They are people who demonstrated our RED Values in their personal and professional lives. They are reminders to our students that by demonstrating our Learner Outcomes of Kiritau (self belief and self confidence), Auahatanga (creativity), Whakamatemate (curiosity) and Mahi Tahi (collaboration) they can achieve amazing this things.
The Houses are:
Batten - named after Jean Batten. Batten's house colour is black.
McLaren - named after Bruce McLaren. McLaren's house colour is yellow.

Pickering - named after William Pickering. Pickering's house colour is blue.
Grace - named after Patricia Grace. Grace's house colour is purple.

Each house has a logo to represent them, and the talents of the person they were named after.
