Students living out of the zone who wish to attend Redwood School must apply to enrol when there is a ballot.

Our next enrolment period, with a possible ballot, is being advertised at the moment. We have places for students turning 5 years old between 5 July 2019 and 19 December 2019 and a limited number of places throughout the school. Please have your application to the school office by 9 am on 30th May 2019. Contact the office, if you have any questions.

The ballot information and procedures for the third and fourth terms of 2019 will close on 30 My 2019.

The enrolment scheme means that children from families who live inside the zone have the right to be enrolled at Redwood School. All other enrolments will be subject to enrolment scheme legislation. An enrolment scheme must establish the following order of priority for the selection of students who would live outside the Redwood School zone.

1st Priority: Students accepted for enrolment in a special programme run by the school and approved by the Secretary of Education. We have no such programmes so this priority would not apply to Redwood School.

2nd Priority: Brothers and sisters of current students.

3rd Priority: Brothers and sisters of former students.

4th Priority: Children of former students.

5th Priority: Children of Board employees or children of Board members.

6th Priority: All other students.

If there are more applicants in priority groups than there are places available, selection within the priority group must be made by ballot.

Applications for the second half of 2019 are welcome. These close 9am 30 May 2019. A ballot will be held on 4th June 2019 if necessary.  This is for the second half of 2019. This is the second enrolment period for 2019.

An enrolment form can be collected from the school office or downloaded from the website.  When returning the enrolment form please ensure all necessary paperwork is attached to the application.
